Installing the Gas Chip
Installing the Gas Chip
Placing on Gasoline and Diesel Vehicles takes just a few minutes! MUST be place directly on the fuel tank as directed below.
1. Locate your vehicle’s fuel tank on the bottom side of your vehicle.
2. Automobiles and light duty trucks require 1 each per 45 gallons. Large diesel trucks & diesel cars & light duty diesel trucks require 1 each per 25 gallons. You should see results after the second tank. It needs one tank just to “charge” the electrical system with the appropriate frequency.
3. If you have a high performance car using octane levels above 87 you can now just use 87 octane fuel with the same engine performance you were using with the 89,91,or 93 octane.
This will not reduce fuel consumption if more than an 87 octane fuel is used.
4. Simply cleanse a small area on the underside of the fuel tank with Windex, soap, degreaser and water or some other approved solvent (carburetor or brake cleaner). On some vehicles, especially high mileage vehicles, extra cleaning of the tank will be necessary due to road dust, film and oils.
ƒ
Metal & Plastic tanks require one installed on the bottom of the tank. It should be placed in the middle lowest part of the fuel tank.
5. All Diesel trucks that are larger than passenger vehicles need to put 1 each per 25 gallons (or 100 liters metric) of fuel tank size. For Example; For Truckers and large rigs: If you have an over the - road truck with two (2) 135 gallon tanks, then you would need 6 each placed per tank. (135 / 25 = 5.4 or 6 each) for a total of 12 each for that truck.
MUST be installed on the very bottom of each tank equally spaced.
6. How to figure out the spacing of the each on your tanks. Let’s say you only need 4 each, you will measure the length of the tank and divide by 5. Let’s say you need 5 each, then divide the length of the tank by 6, and so on…
7. Allow the tank to dry before placing.

8. Peel the white protective cover from the back and then we suggest using a few drops of SUPER GLUE (Cover the entire surface) when placing on the tank as directed above. Pour the adhesive on it; however, the SUPER GLUE is needed for extra security so that heat and vibration will not dislodge. We highly recommend that everyone does this!

Additional IMPORTANT notes
1. If your car was made after 1995 the chances of you having a plastic tank is very high. If
it was made after 2005 the chances are over 90%
2. ALL fuel tanks are placed between the wheel axles if the car was made after 1995
(Remember the Pinto?)
3. Some SUV’s have metal plates protecting their gas tanks. You need to either have the plates removed to install the chips or get them mounted on the bottom of the tanks as close to the right position as possible.
4. NEVER mount the on the sides of the fuel tank.
5. Be sure that when you peel the paper off of that you see a shiny metal bottom. If you see white paper then you have not peeled all of the paper off.
What if it doesn’t work?
If you have run at least 2 FULL tanks through your car and you are not seeing results please do and look for the following:
1. Remove BOTH your positive and negative power cables from your battery for at least 10 minutes. Then re-connect the cables and run your car/truck again like normal.
2. Did you install on something other than your gas tank? Like your tire well, trunk, metal straps or protection plate.
3. Is it still on your tank?
METAL & PLASTIC TANK
4. Did you use super glue? Are there any areas around the edges that are not touching the tank?
5. Are you using any fuel over 87 octane? If so only use 87 octane. You will get the same performance using 87 octane as you were using the higher octane.
DO NOT REMOVE
1. Once you install the chip on your vehicle’s fuel tank, do not remove and install it on a second location on your vehicle’s fuel tank, or on the fuel tank of a different vehicle.
2. It will NOT work once removed from their original installed location(s). We is not financially responsible if you install in the wrong location.
